National Association of Women MBAs comes to RMU

The RMU SBUS held its initial meeting of the National Association of Women MBAs (NAWMBA)on March 26th. The launch of city-based professional chapters is NAWMBA's initiative to provide women across America with strong networking and developing opportunities after they obtain their degrees. In 2007, NAWMBA launched its first professional chapters in San Francisco, Los Angeles and Washington, DC. Since then, many more chapters have launched, with a growing number now in the development stages. The launch of the Pittsburgh Chapter has been a shared effort from Robert Morris University and Duquesne University. MBAs from all institutions are welcome to participate. As a Professional Leader at the chapter level, you will have the opportunity to work with some of the most motivated women in your city as well as across the nation. Benefits of serving as a NAWMBA Professional Leader include but are not limited to the following: 1. Developing your leadership skills 2. Expanding your personal network by meeting and working with a diverse, dynamic group of like-minded women 3. Enhancing your resume and references 4. Giving back to the Pittsburgh community To learn more about our chapter and/or view the mission statement and objectives, please visit: http://www.mbawomen.org/chapter/pittsburgh-pennsylvania
