RMU Employee Wellness Fair 2013





The Employee Wellness Fair took place last Tuesday April 16th, 2013 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the John Jay Gym.

This employee appreciation event was open to students and the wellness event featured:

Wellness Education
Free Health Screenings
Chair Massages
Light Lunch
and raffle prizes such as Ipads and goodie bags.

Many companies such as PNC, Highmark, TransAmerica hosted tables at this healthy event for RMU employees.
 

Summer 2013 Internship Available




Tickets for Kids is recruiting for summer interns!  

Do you know someone who is interested in the field of arts and culture? How about sports marketing?  Or someone who wants to support children?  Staff of Tickets for Kids interact with all these constituencies on a daily basis, and interns have a chance to experience all aspects of the daily operation of a fast-paced nonprofit organization.

Internship projects can be tailored to capitalize on a candidate's specific skill set and area of interest.  This is a great opportunity for someone looking for nonprofit management, development, database management, and/or marketing experience.

Let's give a round of applause for our award winning faculty!

Recently several of the School of Business faculty attended the 20th American Society of Business and Behavioral Studies Conference.

ASBBS emphasizes quality and collegiality with a lasting impact. ASBBS screens all papers and paper proposals and publishes only the accepted articles in the Proceedings. All articles published in the refereed journals are double blind reviewed. The Journals publish theoretical and empirical papers submitted by the faculty members and practitioners. Most of the published articles in the refereed journals are drawn from papers presented in the annual conference.

Every year, Dr. Rudd takes a trip to present at the ASBBS conference in Las Vegas. In February 2013, Robert Morris University faculty brought home four Best Paper Awards.

43rd Annual Student Recognition Awards Ceremony, Wednesday March 20th, 2013


This annual tradition at RMU recognizes students who have achieved excellence in scholarship, leadership and service to the university and community. Pictured above are the award winners and the School of Business Dean Dr. Beehler.

Dean’s Scholar Awards (Undergraduate Programs) recognize currently enrolled degree students who have achieved a 3.5 QPA for three consecutive terms (excluding summer) while taking at least six credits each term, do not have a grade lower than a C, and have earned at least 45 credits at RMU.
 
Outstanding Academic Awards recognize students who have achieved excellence within their area of concentration.
