From Professor MacPhail:

Below please see an invitation to attend a city-wide meeting in connection with the start-up of a Pittsburgh city-wide student chapter of the National Association of Black Accountants (NABA).  For those of you who were not able to attend the last AFA meeting, Mr. Richard Ward and several NABA colleagues made a presentation on the mission of NABA and the activities planned for the Pittsburgh city-wide chapter.  The kick-off meeting is at KPMG offices on Thursday April 17 at 6:00 PM.
Students of all races and ethnicities are welcome to join.  The only requirement is that you support the mission of NABA.  If you are interested in being a part of this landmark action in accounting history in our region, please join us on April 17.

You can register by clicking on Details and Registration, which will then be followed by a link Students May Register With This Form.  Registration is free. Dr. Fratto and I will be attending and are happy to drive any student who needs ride from campus to downtown Pittsburgh -- you just need to contact us.

Please let me know if you register and if you need a ride; or if you are driving and can take other students too.  Thank you for your consideration. Dr. Fratto and I look forward to seeing many of you on April 17.
