EconomicsPennsylvania Network present the annual “Economics Challenge”
Wednesday, March 30, 2011; 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Teams of four (4) students representing their high schools are invited to compete in a Pennsylvania regional competition. In Pennsylvania, there are two levels of competition: Adam Smith (for advanced economics students); David Ricardo (general economics and business students). At each level of competition, student teams answer rigorous questions on microeconomics, macroeconomics, international economics and current economic events. Students answer questions both individually, and as a team. The final round at each level will feature the top 2 teams in each division facing off in a fast-answer round. Prizes and a chance to compete state-wide are offered.

The AMA Collegiate Chapter will be attending and competing at the International AMA Collegiate Conference in New Orleans, LA in April, 2011

The Marketing Department will be hosting the Alpha Mu Alpha Honorary Society awards ceremony in April 2011. (Date be announced)

School of Business Dean’s Scholar Ceremony, April 10th , time and location to be determined

School of Business Student Picnic, April 26th

School of Business will be hosting the Third Annual International Conference on Sustainable Enterprises of the Future from September 11 - 14, 2011 at the Sewall Center.

Sports Management Conference, Friday before Homecoming

Accounting and Taxation are planning a 90-year celebration event for the fall. Date to be
determined.
